International Technology Group (ITG) was founded by George A. Jenkins in 1984. Mr. Jenkins, a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, earned degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. He has been a principal and senior level executive in a number of diversified instrument and hand tool manufacturing companies in the US and overseas.
ITG's mission is to provide our clients with value quality products at economical prices via our network of manufacturing plants throughout the world. We are constantly seeking and evaluating new sources of raw materials and manufacturing.
The benefit to the ITG client is a significant reduction in product costs that allows the client to be more competitive in their marketplace while maintaining or increasing bottom line profits.
Our multi-lingual staff of professional engineers in the US and abroad are always ready to provide design and engineering, technical advice, source unusual raw materials, implement changes or modifications on current orders, follow up on manufacturing and shipping schedules and constantly monitor product quality at the manufacturing site. Modern, state of the art technology maintains an open line of communication between our facilities in the US and our network of manufacturing sites throughout the world.
In 1996, ITG diversified into road maintenance equipment and its distribution primarily into Russia and China. This was a natural extension of our agricultural implement manufacturing business. As part of our activities, we have extensive contacts and excellent relationships with local, regional and national road administrators of these countries. In this respect and as a distributor of several US manufacturers of road maintenance equipment that use primary asphalt emulsion technology, we have successfully completed a number of projects in the commissioning and installation of:
