The Hydraulic Spreader Box is designed specifically for
microsurfacing and quick
set slurry seal mixes. Widths
are
hydraulically
adjusted from 8 to 14
feet
(2.4 to 4.3m)
in 6 inch (15cm)
increments. The primary and
secondary
strikeoff heights are
adjustable at three places.
Auger
bearings are polyethylene,
providing
low maintenence
and
economical replacement. Inside
skids,
produce cleaner
longitudinal
joints. Widths to 16 feet (4.9m) are
available
by special order. Adjustable
pitch rear strikeoff available
(shown).

is available with

without augers for typical

set slurry seal applications.

The Rut Box design allows
filling of wheel path
ruts
to the desired level without
wasting material.
Two
V-shaped screeds channel
the larger sized
aggregate in
the
mix to the deeper part
of the
rut. The screeds are
independantly adjustable.
Available in 5 foot (1.5m)
or 6 foot (1.8m) widths.

Variable spreader Box
is
designed
for microsurfacing.
The width is
adjustable
while
paving. Hydraulic
cylinders
within
the frame
of thespreader box.
The
ribbon augers
are fully
expandable, feature
a 12"
pitch, and are
hydraulically
driven. Both
the primary
and
secondary
strikeoffs
feature a
patented
design
that allows
them
to
slide
within a guide
tube
while
the box expands
or
contracts
while paving. It
also features
inboard runners
to provide
clean longitudinal
joints.
The Variable
Width
Spreader
Box is available
in a
9 to 14
foot (2.7 to 4.3 m)
model.
